next for the first County Cross Country Championships of the season
and they begin at 12 noon sharp. The races are for Boys and Girls under

first three teams of four. The juvenile races are quite long in each
age group and athletes should be training over the distances, all
clubs have the exact distances  No point in putting athletes out in

Night Training Advice

Our roads are used by motorists and cyclists and footpaths are for
pedestrians which include runners. The only time our roads are
generally used by runners are in daylight hours- well in by the
fences- and when races are run on them where there are lots of
stewards. At night time out training it must only be footpaths and
those running should not be in large groups, the only very simple
reason for this advice is SAFETY. Its unfair to motorists after dark
to see people cris crossing on roads and in some cases without
reflective clothing. So runners you do your bit for safety of
yourselves and others.
